Eucalyptus caesia Fine Art Print
The Eucalyptus caesia was a rare and endangered species hailing from the Western Australian goldfields. It is now one of the most popular ornamental eucalypts - much loved by gardeners across the temperate areas of the Southern Australian states.
I painted this depiction of the caesia's sculptural weeping branches bearing silvery bell-shaped gum nuts in a mixture of watercolour and designers gouache.
